First is the photograph handed out in class.  I did not photograph the work after the first and second classes.

After the first class, a basic painted drawing was in place and most of the color blocks were laid down.  After the second class, the backdrop was wonderful, but the table needed to be defined more.  Adding in darks to the stems and shadows helped to balance out the painting.  The second photo is the painting after three classes.  I ruined the backdrop by adding paint that was too muddied down, but ......
