 Something Different Mosaics (ONLINE Class) New!

Explore new substrates and unexpected tesserae to discover how materials shape design.  No patterns or perfection required, just curiosity, conversation and beautiful surprises.  You will finish several exploratory pieces and one integrated mosaic inspired by what your materials teach you.  Tools and materials list will be provided.  All levels welcome, mosaic experience helpful but not required.

Mosaic Art - Beginner to Advanced 

Build a strong foundation in the ancient art form of mosaics using modern tools and materials. Learn everything from setting up your workspace to displaying your work. Learn to cut glass, properly adhere to your tesserae, and finish your work for best results. Planning, design, selection of materials and use of hand tools will be covered. Fabrication techniques and tricks of the trade will be discussed.  New student kits can be ordered from the instructor or acquire your own tools and materials (list will be provided). All skill levels welcome.

Micro Mosaic Jewelry (ONLINE class)

Create beautiful jewelry and micro mosaic art using micro tiles in glass and ceramic, stained glass, rhinestones, findings, beads, and specialty glass including millefiori, smalti and filato. A materials list will be provided however kits will be available for purchase from the instructor. Mosaic experience is useful but not required.
